| dc.description.abstract | Los autores -a modo de ensayo histórico-antropológico- presentan una aproximación taxonómica sobre algunas de las teorías explicativas del origen y la naturaleza de la educación física y del deporte. Desde una perspectiva interdisciplinar -que cabalga entre la historia, la filosofía, la antropología cultural y la fenomenología de la religión- se pasa revista a las interpretaciones lúdico-festivas profundizando en las relaciones entre juego y deporte e incidiendo en aspectos específicos como los juegos agonales. También se aborda el substrato religioso y cultural de las actividades físico-deportivas, reparando específicamente en las tradiciones culturales iniciáticas. Finalmente se consideran las teorías materiales, así como aquellas que apelan a la guerra o la biología, para dar cuenta y razón del origen de la educación física y del deporte | en_US |
