In spite of the fact that scientific language must be accurate and clear, there are still numerous inadequacies, such as the use of unnecessary Anglicisms. The objectives of this study were to present a descriptive profile of Anglicisms in scientific articles on mental health to establish their unnecessary or necessary character, and offer recommendations of well- grounded equivalents in Spanish. |
