Abstract: In Spain, vocational education in hospitality and tourism continues to show gaps in providing a preparation that responds to the needs of the tourism sector and the population's demands. Using structural equation modelling, the present study examines the role played by knowledge resources and dynamic capabilities in improving learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the knowledge resources increase the dynamic capabilities of vocational education schools, that is, their ability to adapt their resources and processes to the changing training needs of the tourism sector. In addition, high levels of dynamic capabilities improve the graduates' learning outcomes.
