Abstract: Worldwide research on e-mail communication between teachers and students has increased for the past two decades. This paper aims to highlight the potential of Information and Communication Technology, particularly, e-mails, as a pedagogical tool in foreign language teaching at Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The main objective is to demonstrate how e-mails represent a perfect platform to optimize the delivery of information, but primarily to reinforce some good values and enhance students’ confidence and motivation.
