Abstract: This paper presents pedagogical materials for the study of gender-inclusive language and the Spanish grammar structures for it in the subject Spanish Language and Literature in the 1(st) course of Compulsory Secondary Education. In this sense, the learning objectives have been 1) learning about the notions of inclusive language in general and gender-inclusive language in particular, 2) promoting the use of non-sexist language in the classroom, 3) encouraging critical thinking related to the use of language, 4) avoiding gender inequality situations in the classroom, 5) dealing with diversity by respecting the different rhythms of learning. In order to achieve these objectives, I have applied active methodologies such as project-based learning and collaborative learning, as well as ICT tools. The competencies developed are reading and writing multimodal texts together with critical thinking and linguistic sensitivity. After using this pedagogical materials in the classroom, I have concluded that the objectives have been achieved: students have been able to recognize non-sexist language and also todevelop a guide for the use of gender-inclusive language in their classroom which helps them express their ideas and feelings in relation to gender equality, and they have also understood the complexity of the notions of gender equality and gender-inclusive language so that they can identify harmful behaviors in classroom interaction.
