Abstract

This article attempts to analyse the effect that childhood and teenage experiences had on the literary work of Annie Ernaux. Her interest in language is a vital part of the problems posed in her narrative, requiring careful stylistic research. The writing itself has exercised an invigorating force on the forming of her identity and recreates for History the existence of people from the underprivileged social background from which she originally came.

Este artículo analiza las repercusiones de las vivencias infantiles y de las experiencias adolescentes en la obra literaria de la escritora Annie Ernaux. El interés de esta autora por el lenguaje constituye un foco esencial de su problemática narrativa que conlleva una investigación estilística escrupulosa. La escritura encarna un papel regenerador en la formación de su identidad y recupera para la Historia la existencia de los seres de su mundo de origen, de un medio social desfavorecido.
