Fecha de publicación: | 2018 | Publicación seriada: | Cybium | Resumen: | Validity of Physiculus sudanensis was questioned based on the similarities with Physiculus dalwigki and the erroneously assigned type location of 'Cotes du Soudan' in the Indian Ocean. After a careful comparison with the holotype of P. dalwigki, P. sudanensis is herein considered as a junior synonym of P. dalwigki. A redescription of P. dalwigki is also presented.
