Las ediciones de la Silua Selectorum Tripartita y del De Ratione Dicendi de Bartolomé Alcázar

Abstract

En vida de Bartolomé Alcázar se publicaron dos veces la Silua Selectorum Tripartita y otras dos el De ratione dicendi, en los que se incluyen los Progymnasmata de Aftonio. Primero, en 1681, se publica la Silua Selectorum Tripartita, en cuya Parte II, Didactica, aparecen los Progymnasmata de Aftonio. Luego, en el mismo año, se edita esta Parte II de forma independiente con el nombre De ratione dicendi opusculum triplex. En 1688 se vuelve a editar esta Parte II, De ratione dicendi, pero corregida y aumentada. En 1706 se edita de nuevo la obra inicial completa, la Sylua Selectorum Tripartita, aunque con cambios en la estructura. El presente trabajo analiza y compara estas ediciones para determinar sus diferencias y comprobar sus modificaciones y semejanzas.

The Silua Selectorum Tripartita and the De ratione dicendi with Aphthonius’ Progymnasmata were published twice during the life of Bartolomé Alcázar. First, in 1681 there appeared the Silua Selectorum Tripartita, the second part of which, headed Didactica, also contained the Progymnasmata of Aphthonius. Then, in the same year, this second part was published independently under the name De ratione dicendi opusculum triplex. In 1688 this second part, entitled De ratione dicendi, was reprinted with corrections and additions. In 1706 the entire first work, the Sylua Selectorum Tripartita, was published again, but in a different structure than before. This paper analyses and compares these editions in order to establish their differences and to determine their modifications and similarities.
