Forjando la Universidad Emprendedora: Las claves del capital humano para la formación de un ecosistema emprendedor en la Universidad

Abstract

El presente estudio revisa los conceptos de Universidad Emprendedora y Ecosistema Emprendedor con la finalidad de construir un modelo que permita la construcción de universidades emprendedoras. El trabajo se focaliza en conocer los elementos que deben componer el contexto y ecosistema emprendedor, centrándose particularmente en el capital humano de las universidades –estudiantes y profesores-, bajo el entendido que sobre él se forja el capital emprendedor en este tipo de instituciones. Se presenta un estudio sobre la intención emprendedora de estudiantes y profesores al objeto de extraer conclusiones útiles sobre política universitaria para desarrollar este tipo de Universidad.

This paper aims to review the concept of Entrepreneurial University and the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem in the way of building the context to create a path toward the new Entrepreneurial University. Under the Resource and Capabilities Theory, we try to show how the third mission is fulfilled building up the model to foster the entrepreneurial mindset in this sort of institutions. The human capital is seen as the entrepreneurial capital, that is why we consider to follow up a research in which students and their teachers were interviewed. The entrepreneurial intention is analysed to understand better how to foster an entrepreneurial context and culture within the universities.
