Abstract

El abandono de los paisajes agrícolas ha favorecido la obsolescencia de numerosos inmuebles patrimoniales y de sus paisajes. Este es el caso de los molinos de viento tradicionales, que se muestran hoy como testigos mudos de una actividad agrícola desarrollada en tiempos pasados y que, mayoritariamente, se encuentran descontextua-lizados respecto al paisaje natural que los vio nacer. Apostar por el patrimonio arquitectónico y por la diversidad de sus paisajes supondría una contribución eficaz al desarrollo económico del territorio y de sus localidades

The abandonment of agricultural landscapes has led to the obsolescence of numerous heritage buildings and their associated landscapes. This is the case of the traditional windmills, which today stand as silent witnesses to an agricultural activity developed in past times and which, for the most part, are out of context with respect to the natural landscape that saw them born. Betting on architectural heritage and the diversity of its landscapes would be an effective contribution to the economic development of the territory and its localities.
