El aspecto jurídico-práctico de la responsabilidad social empresarial

Abstract

GLOBAL (SALCAI-UTINSA) aparece desde tiempo en el transporte interurbano de Gran Canaria como una entidad que valora la presencia de sus socios-trabajadores como centro en el que pivotan el resto de las medidas jurídico-económicas. Su origen atiende al valor del trabajador por cuanto era inicialmente el propietario de los autobuses que conducían y que su aglutinamiento llevó a ser pioneros en la concepción de servicio público en el transporte, manteniendo el carácter de operador único en dicho espacio. Han sido pioneros en tanto en cuanto, su situación actual de sociedad anónima tras la fusión de dos entidades del transporte en Gran Canaria, está fundamentada en la existencia como sociedad laboral. Ello ha caracterizado y sigue caracterizando su condición jurídica. GLOBAL no ha perdido los valores y principios que fundamentan toda sociedad laboral, el grupo humano que lo integra es el centro de preocupación, pero también es verdad que la evolución ha demandado otro tipo y se han ido adaptando a ello. El cuidado por lo sostenible y sentirse parte de la sociedad donde desarrollan su actividad es característica en su proceder. GLOBAL (SALCAI-UTINSA) viene aplicando los elementos que refuerzan la consideración de empresa socialmente responsable, siendo consciente de que la participación redunda positivamente en su consideración social. Siguen participando en el desarrollo de la sociedad gran canaria.

They have been pioneers in as much as, their present situation of joint-stock company after the merger of two entities of the transport in Gran Canaria, is based on the existence like labor society. This has characterized and continues to characterize its legal status. GLOBAL has not lost the values and principles that underlie any labor society, the human group that integrates it is the center of concern, but it is also true that evolution has demanded another type and they have adapted to it. The care for the sustainable and feel part of the society where they develop their activity is characteristic in their behavior. GLOBAL (SALCAI-UTINSA) has been applying the elements that reinforce the consideration of a socially responsible company, being aware that active participation positively results in its social consideration. They continue to participate in the development of Gran Canaria society.
