Conflictos armados y patrimonio cultural material: mecanismos de protección a nivel internacional

Abstract

La preservación del patrimonio cultural mundial ha ganado mucha atención en los últimos años, pues la destrucción de los bienes culturales ha sido una trágica constante. En este sentido, la Unesco ha reconocido diversas construcciones históricas, conjunto de bienes materiales o naturales como patrimonio cultural y herencia de toda la humanidad, por lo que preservar el patrimonio cultural es extremadamente importante en tanto en cuanto forma parte de la historiografía de diversas generaciones y contribuye y muestra la historia de nuestros antepasados.

The preservation of the world cultural heritage has won a lot of attention in the last years, since the destruction of the cultural goods has been a constant tragedy. In this sense, the Unesco has recognized diverse historical buildings, group of material or natural goods like cultural heritage and inheritance of all the mankind, by what preserve the cultural heritage is extremely important while it forms part of the historiography of diverse generations and that contributes and shows the history of our ancestors.
