La Recepción de los clásicos en las “Artes Poéticas” de Nuno Júdice

Abstract

In this article we show how the set of poems that Nuno Júdice has entitled with the terms “art” and “poetry” throughout his long literary career are the result of a permanent dialogue with the classical tradition, especially with Horace. We also show that the texts of the classical authors, as pieces of the literary and rhetorical tradition, contribute to delimit and define Nuno Júdice’s vision of the nature of poetry and poetic creation.
