In this paper the tomatoes cultivation in hydroponics is studied on four different substrates, one porous and three compact, with the same nutritive solution, in glasshouse with controlled humidity and temperature. These substrates are studied in relation with the number of irrigations, with the result that treatments with four irrigations have the highest production. The best substrate seems to be the porous one.en
