| dc.description.abstract | Recent surveys in Western Sahara resulted in tour new species of amphibians and reptiles being reported for the area: Bufo xeros, Hemidacty/us brooki, Uromastyx sp. and Cha/cides ocel/atus. In addilion, Acanthodactylus taghitensis was recorded in Mauritania 50 km from the border with Western Sahara.
