Abstract: Teaching at higher education levels traditionally meant for the students to acquire professional skills that would enable them to achieve success in the workplace. Nowadays this has proven to be insufficient in a world that is undergoing a digital transformation. Such a digital transformation means that interactions with people that do not speak the same language have become nearly unavoidable. In this context we proposed an integrated teaching approach that provides the student with the necessary Professional Competences, Digital Competences and Language Competences to be able to undergo their job at a high level of achievement. The key advantage of the proposed approach is that undergoing the acquisition of each competence individually will be far less efficient than having a comprehensive learning process that blends them into a single set of skills.
