El "Defensor del Pueblo" en Iberoamérica. Una perspectiva comparada

Abstract

We can say that Latin America has not remained indifferent to the growing needs of society, proving once again its ability to adapt to new legal realities. Among other things, this approach is reflected in the configuration of the Ombudsman in the legal systems of the region and according to it, is to ascertain to what extent there are several similarities between the Spanish Ombudsman and other state institutions similar in Latin America.

Podemos decir que América Latina no ha permanecido indiferente a las crecientes necesidades de la sociedad, demostrando una vez más su capacidad de adaptación a las nuevas realidades jurídicas. Entre otras cosas, este enfoque se ve reflejado en la configuración del Defensor del Pueblo en los ordenamientos jurídicos de la región y según él, es conocer hasta qué punto existen varias similitudes entre el Defensor del Pueblo español y otras instituciones estatales similares en América Latina.
