Therefore, we have determined bone Zn, Fe, Mn and Cu, and trabecular bone mass (TBM) in 62 prehispanic samples of Gran Canaria, finding lower TBM, Fe and Zn (p<0.0001) and higher Cu and Mn (p<.0.001) values in them when compared with 21 modern controls.
