Resumen: In Bachelor and Master's Thesis, it is highly advisable to involve students in research projects. Additionally, project-based approaches where several final degree theses are related could encourage the motivation of students. Especially in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects, this divide-and-conquer strategy could lead in skills improvements of students in different, but related, fields. In this manuscript, we present the development of a controlled and highly stable power supply to be used as excitation of the light source of a hyperspectral imaging system.
