Abstract: The aim of this paper is to describe a corneal epithelial inclusion cyst (CEIC) case in a dog. The tissue neoformation on the left eye, probably of traumatic origin, was the major concern and, therefore, a complete resection of the mass using the superficial keratectomy technique was performed to address the problem. It was done without using neither a conjunctival graft nor an eyelid ap. The post-surgery treatment consisted of the application of a therapeutic lens and topical antibiotics. The pathologyical results confirmed the corneal epithelial inclusion cyst (CEIC), and it healed over three months later without signs of recurrence.
