El trabajo de los gestores públicos: un enfoque de agenda

Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende averiguar aspectos relativos a las características y contenido del trabajo del directivo en el Sector Público. Se analizan, por un lado, las investigaciones realizadas hasta el momento en materia de trabajo directivo, tanto desde el punto de vista teórico como empírico, y, por otro, la contribución que puede aportar ese conocimiento a los programas de formación que plantea la modernización de las Administraciones Públicas.

This paper deals with the first results of a research project that aims to clarify certain issues concerned with the characteristics and contents of the role of the manager in the Public Services. Inorder to achieve this goal, current research on management studies, both from a theoretical and empirical viewpoint, are analysed. On the other hand, the contribution that this knowledge can provide for professional training targeting modernization in the Public Services is also examined.
