Abstract: Environment and Power Quality (EA4EPQ). All rights reserved. In this article, the economic viability of a typical wind farm of the Canary Islands is analyzed. The sensibility of the investment is analyzed as opposed to a series of factors which can change. Likewise, it is proved that exist technical and economic determinants that restrict the full development of the wind potential of a certain area, especially in the islands or places of complicated or slightly communicated geography.
