Evaluar a través de Internet

Abstract

Con Internet las fuentes de información y comunicación de la evaluación se amplían; el profesor no es su responsable único sino también el alumno, los compañeros y otros docentes. La evaluación no está circunscrita al aula, a los alumnos y al control, a través de un examen escrito, de los conocimientos adquiridos. Se añaden técnicas visuales, auditivas, multimedias, y herramientas de intercomunicación sincrónicas y asincrónicas. Los análisis cuantitativos y cualitativos de los procesos didácticos se hacen más sencillos y rápidos, lo que contribuye a mejorar la práctica de los profesores y el aprendizaje de los alumnos, y, desde luego, las instituciones educativas.

Internet has widened the sources of information and communication for educational assessment; it is not just the teacher’s responsibility but the student’s and fellow teacher’s as well. Written examinations are not the only device for learning control; there are also audiovisual techniques, multimedia, and synchronic/asynchronic tools for intercommunication. Quantitive and qualitative analysis of the teaching process become faster and more simple, which results in the improvement of the teacher’s practice, the students’ learning and the very educational institutions as well.
