| dc.description.abstract | La hemofila es una coagulopatía ligada al cromosoma X por deficiencia del Factor VIII (hemofilia A), IX (hemofilia B) o combinada del factor VIII y las plaquetas (enfermedad de von Willebrand). Debido a las hemorragias, sobre todo en el sistema musculoesquelético, los pacientes padecen complicaciones e incapacidades a corto y largo plazo. Entre 1981-1986 se contabilizaron un total de 194 pacientes admitidos ( 499 admisiones) en el Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre de Oxford, presentándose, en este trabajo, las líneas generales de su tratamiento. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | The haemophilias are due to a functional coagulopathy (either factor VIII, IX or factor Vlll-platelet defiency). Because to musculoskeletal acute haemorrhages, young and elderly patients develop structural deformities.Between 1981-1986, 194 patients (499 admission) werw admitted to the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford.
