Abstract: This work make a description of techniques and algoritms to define a general strategy to attack the problem of visual automatic detection of defects, based on Systems Theory and Artificial Vision techniques, wich allows for a transportability to defects detection problems on several materials like leather, wood, clothes and plastics.
