Abstract: Since the beginning of the financial crisis in 2008, and especially with the implementation of tight fiscal contrl measures in the public sector, the employment prospects of young Spaniards have worsened substantially. The adverse economic situation has made an increasing number of young people decide to emigrate to countries across the globe, especially Europe and Latin America.
