Resumen: Power systems, especially those which are small and isolated, are working more and more to the limits of their capacity. Thus there is a need for new structures that give them more flexibility. To this end, the Spanish Transmission System Operator (TSO), Red Electrica de España (REE), in collaboration with various research centres, is working on solutions to increase the flexibility of isolated power systems. The evaluation of these solutions, based in new devices and operational strategies, requires new analysis tools. This article presents one such tool for integrating and comparing simulation and operation results for the system using a solution based in Big Data.
