Issue Date: | 1988 | Publisher: | 0021-9614 | Journal: | Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics | Abstract: | Excess molar enthalpies HmE{xHCO2CH3+(1-x)CnH2n+1OH} for n = 3 to 10, have been determined at 298.15 K and atmospheric pressure using a Calvet microcalorimeter and a device for avoiding the vapour space in the calorimetric cell. The HmE values are all positive, increasing with the n value of the alkanol.
