dc.description.abstract | The excess molar thermodynamic properties HEm and VEm of {xCH3(CH2)u-1CO2CH3 (u = 1 to 6) + (1 - x)CH3(CH2)14CH3}, measured at the temperature 298.15 K, are reported. All mixtures exhibit positive quantities for both properties which decrease with the length of the methyl ester. A comparative analysis of the application of several theoretical models to (a methyl ester + an n-alkane) is also included. © 1994 Academic Press Ltd. | en_US |
