Isobaric vapor-liquid equilibria were measured for propyl butanoate + ethanol, + 1-propanol, and + 1-butanol at 101.32 kPa using a dynamic still with circulation in both phases. After nonideality of the vapor phase was accounted for, the systems studied were thermodynamically consistent and they were correlated by different equations. No azeotrope was found in these mixtures. The predictions of the activity coefficients and of the vapor phase compositions show moderate agreement with the ASOG model and a recent version of UNIFAC. Densities of the above mixtures were also determined at 298.15 K. © 1995, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.-
