The protocol does not implements either detection or recovery mechanism and the interframe duration of any transmitter was given by an exponential random variable. The mathematical model helps in the analytical calculations of the optimal reading time value for the applications without requiring computer simulations. As any multiaccess communication system, the radio frequency identification is not free from interferences when more than one transmission using the same frequency are sent out simultaneously on the common channel. Based on an anticollision protocol, this paper introduces a mathematical model for calculating analytically some parameters which let us configure the protocol for our application and get the results expected. |
