Title: | The genus Adeonellopsis MacGillivray (Bryozoa: Cheilostomata) in the Canary Islands: A. distoma (Busk) and A. multiporosa sp. nov | Authors: | Aristegui, J. | UNESCO Clasification: | 240119 Zoología marina | Keywords: | Adeonellopsis Tenerife Canary Islands |
Issue Date: | 1985 | Journal: | Journal of Natural History | Abstract: | Two different species of Adeonellopsis with very similar colony form are found in Tenerife (Canary Islands), where they share the same habitat. One of the species, A. multiporosa, is new to science. It differs from the other, A. distoma (Busk), especially in the shorter suboral avicularium, the number and form of the frontal spiramina, and in the absence of interzooidal marginal avicularia. | URI: | https://accedacris.ulpgc.es/handle/10553/51674 | ISSN: | 0022-2933 | DOI: | 10.1080/00222938500770311 | Source: | Journal of Natural History [ISSN 0022-2933], v. 19 (3), p. 425-430 |
