dc.description.abstractThis paper presents the design of a highly energy efficient CMOS adiabatic inverter driver (scal-driver). The proposed scal-driver uses a single input stage based on a single transistor driving cross-coupled CMOS inverters which provide the memory function. When implemented on a 0.13μm CMOS 1.2V technology, under the large capacitive loading condition (10pF), scal-driver performs better than the reference adiabatic circuit (cal-driver) in terms of propagation delay (23%), the energy-delay product (40%), and core area (24%).en_US
