dc.description.abstractIn this paper we introduce a new efficient scheduling algorithm for an operating system, in which performance is evaluated by meeting the deadlines of the processes. Our scheduler is modelled as a queueing network and the service discipline for the CPU is preemptive-resume with time-dependent priorities.We assume that each arriving process has its own deadline.en_US
