Infections in the immigrant child in Spain. Scences of action

Abstract

In this paper we review the main characteristics of infectious diseases in children detected in Spain. Specifically we have considered four scenarios: - The internationally adopted child. - The newborn of immigrant mother. - The traveller child to the country of their immigrant parents. - The immigrant child. The analysis of these data allows to conclude that, with some exceptions (hepatitis B viral infection, tuberculosis, intestinal parasitic infection), the detected infections in immigrant children in Spain do not constitute a real risk for the autochthonous population.
