The aim of this paper is to analyse the current conditions of temporal daily accessibility among the seven Canary Islands by means of sea transport for both passengers and vehicles. To do this a method is proposed that can be applied to other areas sharing similar characteristics of territorial remoteness and fragmentation. Time available daily at the destination is also studied in relation to administrative or commercial working hours.en_US
