Epidemiological, Aethiological and Pathological Studies of Respiratory Disease in Lambs in the South of Spain. Between 1991 and 1993, it was observed epidemiologically that respiratory disturbances in lambs are associated with high temperatures during the summer. The aethiological agent isolated is principally Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae; moreover, Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae biovar A has been isolated in a high number of samples. Histopathologically, an interstitital bronchopneumonia was the main lesional finding; this lesion is associated with previous mycoplasma infection.en_US
