dc.description.abstract | A method is developed for the spectrofluorimetric determination of nanogram amounts of gallium using 1,5-bis-(2,3-dihydroxy-phenylmethylene)-thiocarbohydrazone in a 60% (v/v) ethanol-water medium phthalate buffered to pH* 3.5 (λex 400 nm, λem 493 nm, corrected), which allows the determination of 20–100 and 120–600 μg/ml with 1.32 and 0.80 as relative error, respectively, and 5.1 ng·ml−1 as detection limit. Interferences have been evaluated and the method applied to the determination of gallium in samples of bovine liver, heart and kidney. | en_US |
