dc.description.abstractThe micellar media and the fluorescence techniques have been widely used in the study of the structure and dynamics of biological systems. Analytically, the micellar media present a great interest, specially to improve the sensibility and selectivity of many determinations. In the present communication, we report the micellar enhanced spectrofluorimetric determination of a polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH), benzo(a)pyrene (B(a)P) of great toxicological interest and for its significance in pollution studies.
