Print) | Resumen: | The spectrofluorimetric characteristics of 3,3′,4,4′-tetrachlorobiphenyl (TTCB) and 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzofuran (TTCDF) were studied in aqueous medium and in the presence of cationic, anionic and non-ionic surfactants. It has been established that the fluorescence of binary mixtures of TTCB and TTCDF is enhanced in polyoxyethylene(10)lauryl ether (POLE) using derivative synchronous fluorescence spectrometry at Δλ= 48 nm. Limits of detection of 5.3 ng ml–1 and 2.7 ng ml–1 are obtained, respectively.
