Issue Date: | 2012 | Publisher: | 0378-3812 | Journal: | Fluid Phase Equilibria | Abstract: | Isobaric vapor–liquid equilibrium measurements are reported for the binary mixtures of Isobutyl Acetate with Ethanol, 1-Propanol and 2-Propanol at 0.6 MPa. The measurements have been performed using a dynamic still constructed in stainless steel. Both the liquid and vapor phases are recirculated. The data satisfy the thermodynamic consistency point-to-point test of Van Ness by using the procedures of both Hayden–O’Connell and Tsonopoulos. The activity coefficients have been calculated taking into consideration the non-ideality of the vapor phase. The activity coefficient values obtained by the UNIFAC and ASOG group contribution models are used to verify their predictive behavior. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/46436 | ISSN: | 0378-3812 | DOI: | 10.1016/j.fluid.2012.06.013 | Source: | Fluid Phase Equilibria[ISSN 0378-3812],v. 331, p. 12-17 |
