Title: | Several aspects of the three-dimensional triangulation of Delaunay | Authors: | Escobar, J. M. Montenegro, R. |
Issue Date: | 1994 | Journal: | International Conference on Computational Structures Technology - Proceedings | Conference: | Proceedings of the 2nd International Conference on Computational Structures Technology. Part 1 (of 4) | Abstract: | This paper presents some of the main aspects in the Delaunay triangulation in 3-D. The algorithms used for the construction of the Delaunay triangulation have serious difficulties due to round-off errors made by the computer. A procedure to solve these problems is presented. Another aspect treated is that of the definition of the object to be triangulated by the automatic point generation on its surface and inside. Experimental results and applications are provided. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/45261 | Source: | International Conference on Computational Structures Technology - Proceedings, p. 193-204 |
