The system uses a database of human index finger images acquired on infrared range. The present proposal has applied Sobel detector, enhancement filter and a binarization process to get the vein pattern. The testing results have reached an equal error rate of 27.56%, and a Genuine Acceptance Rate of 100% for a False Acceptance Rate of 0%. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/43991 | ISBN: | 9781479961740 | Source: | 2014 International Work Conference on Bio-Inspired Intelligence: Intelligent Systems for Biodiversity Conservation, IWOBI 2014 - Proceedings, p. 65-70 |
