dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a graphical environment for programming distributed applications by means of GLADE. This environment facilitates the configuration and execution of Ada distributed applications. The environment frees the user from learning the GLADE configuration language, and keeps the state and the configuration of the system in a database for reconfiguration purposes. In order to provide fault tolerance the database can be replicated; the failure is then automatically masked by the graphical environment.en_US
