Issue Date: | 2005 | Conference: | REWAS'04 - Global Symposium on Recycling, Waste Treatment and Clean Technology | Abstract: | A study was carried out to analyse the variations in performance of waste and mixed water treatment when there was a high concentration in salts. It has been observed that when there is a gradual increase in the concentration of salts, the operational parameters remain largely unaltered, with acceptable levels of active slurry, that is, acceptable in shape, size and structure. If there is a sharp increase in the concentration of salts, however, the operational parameters are significanty intimidated and there is a significant repercussion on the activated slurry. | URI: | http://hdl.handle.net/10553/42576 | ISBN: | 8495520060 | Source: | REWAS'04 - Global Symposium on recycling, waste treatment and clean technology, p. 2887-2888 |
