A study was carried out to analyse the variations in performance of waste and mixed water treatment when there was a high concentration in salts. It has been observed that when there is a gradual increase in the concentration of salts, the operational parameters remain largely unaltered, with acceptable levels of active slurry, that is, acceptable in shape, size and structure. If there is a sharp increase in the concentration of salts, however, the operational parameters are significanty intimidated and there is a significant repercussion on the activated slurry.
