From the ecological ground previously described we have to explain the different mechanism of mutual relationship between fishing effort, environmental characteristics and ecological behavior. Fishing as a selector or destructor of certain species or certain sizes within the same species, gives chance to a particular model of distribution. On the other hand, the complementary relationship between environment and the biological community is the origin of a very special and important distribution to which fishing has to be adapted. |
