Contribución del análisis funcional en la caracterización de El Salt como un centro de intervención referencial de las poblaciones neandertalianas en los valles de Alcoi (Alicante)

Abstract

The Mousterian site of El Salt (Alcoi, Alicante) is located in the north-eastern sector of the Betic Range, on the eastern spurs of the Serra Mariola. Its study aims to analyse the historical process that Neanderthal populations experienced in Alcoi Valleys, as a manifestation of the first well-known human settlement in the area.
