Este trabajo trata de cubrir este vacío analizando la contribución realizada, y su evolución, por aquellos investigadores afiliados a instituciones iberoamericanas en revistas académicas especializadas en turismo durante los últimos seis años (período 2006-2011).en_US

Tourism is a key industry in Iberoamerica, representing this region an important role in the international market. Thus, there is a need to analyze the tourism research developed by authors and institutions of this region.
