Artes Gráficas en Madrid: estudio de los establecimientos vinculados al sector a través de la documentación del Archivo de Villa (1900-1936)

Abstract

El presente artículo recoge la investigación realizada en el Archivo de Villa de Madrid con el objetivo de dar a conocer la documentación existente relativa a los establecimientos vinculados a las Artes Gráficas en Madrid; concretamente, el interés recae en su apertura, modificación y cierre durante el primer tercio del siglo XX. A pesar de que este sector siempre ha tenido una gran importancia en España, apenas hay estudios sobre el tema por lo que resulta esencial poner en valor unos vestigios que nos permitirán conocer mejor la historia del sector en Madrid y, consecuentemente, de nuestro país.

This article includes the research carried out in the Archive de Villa de Madrid with the aim of publicizing the existing documentation related to the establishments linked to the Graphic Arts in Madrid; In particular, the attention falls on its opening, modification and closure during the first third of the twentieth century. Even though this sector has always had great importance in Spain, there are barely any studies on the subject, so it is essential to highlight these remains that will allow us to better understand the history of the sector in Madrid and, consequently, of our country.
